Job summary

Cash America Pawn in Tacoma, WA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, lead and develop staff, and help meet financial goals. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to drive customer satisfaction and asset protection.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 18 years of age (WA: minimum 21).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic.
• Computer literate and able to use common office machines.

Responsibilities

• Foster a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Train Pawnbrokers or Sales & Loan Associates to FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Perform management-level opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer counts and protecting assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and securing customer loans.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, and reporting.
• Lead store operations and assist with loan/buy processes to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.
