Job summary

Cash America Pawn in Tacoma, WA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead and mentor a diverse team while delivering outstanding customer service. You will partner with the Store Manager to run daily operations, drive store performance, and help grow sales across jewelry, electronics, tools, and more.

You will coach and develop associates, assist with recruiting, ensure cash-handling accuracy, and maintain merchandising to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in leadership, supervisory, or management roles preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
