FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in a dynamic retail setting in Texas. You will lead daily store operations, promote a customer-centric environment, and work alongside the Store Manager to recruit, develop staff, and maximize profitability.

The role offers an hourly wage with commission and a bonus tied to store performance. Strong supervision, cash handling, and flexibility for a retail schedule are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods of time.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promote a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and addressing issues.
• Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, manage cash drawers, and ensure procedures protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and store processes.
• Drive profitability by monitoring financial statements and meeting goals.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
