Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll, expenses, banking, shrink reduction, and related reports to meet financial and operational goals.
- Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors in providing exceptional Associate and Customer service; ensure standards are met in interactions.
- Maintain store standards and ensure operational expectations are met.
- Oversee the front-end, entrance, and exterior of the store.
- Assign daily tasks to Associates and monitor productivity.
- Perform opening and closing functions as needed.
- Assist with hiring, recruiting, interviewing, onboarding to meet staffing needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years’ retail management experience with mid to large size retailer.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Stand for extended periods and work safely.
