Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and related reports to meet financial and operational goals.
- Provide exceptional customer and associate service, demonstrating Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors.
- Maintain store standards and ensure operational expectations are met.
- Oversee store exterior and front-end maintenance.
- Assign daily tasks to associates and monitor productivity.
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
- Assist in hiring, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new staff.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of retail management experience with a mid to large retailer.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Stand for extended periods and work safely.
