Job summary

Lids Sports Group in Burlington, MA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and drive sales while delivering excellent customer service. This role reports to the Store Manager and focuses on training, scheduling, and maintaining brand standards.

As a full-time, non-exempt position, you will supervise staff, manage visuals and merchandising, and uphold policies, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention while fostering an inclusive team environment.

• Proven ability to achieve sales targets while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as manager on duty for scheduling and customer issues when the Store Manager is away.
• Lead training of staff and monitor progress with store performance goals.
• Administer disciplinary steps as needed and maintain a respectful team environment.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and coaching store personnel.
• Ensure policy compliance, inventory protection, and cash control.
• Prepare store for audits and maintain daily operations.
