Job summary

Lids Sports Group, a leading sports retailer, is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations in Wisconsin. You will manage scheduling, coach staff, and uphold brand standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

As a key leader on the floor, you’ll drive sales, maintain visual merchandising, and ensure smooth operations, cash handling, and inventory control in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Manage store associates via Lids Training Programs, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment, aligning with company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer feedback and escalations on the spot to “make it right.”
• Encourage customers to join Lids membership programs or in-store offers.
• Adhere to visual guidelines for merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
• Manage cash handling, opening/closing till, and secure inventory and funds.
• Support inventory counts and product changes in backroom operations.
