Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Sugar Land, Texas. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged merchandise, and handle record keeping.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized store areas; protect assets including cash.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and supervise/train Store Associates.
• Create a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and team.
