Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs; frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and functions.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain neat, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom; protect store assets.
• Supervise and train Store Associates; ensure safe, respectful environment.
• Ensure cleanliness of the store including bathrooms, floors, and restocking.
• Other duties as assigned.
