Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Duncanville, TX seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily functions, organize merchandise, and help manage opening/closing procedures to ensure a clean, compliant store.

You will supervise, train, and develop Store Associates, uphold safety, and maintain attractive, well-stocked sales floors while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience preferred in retail, grocery, or drug store.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and maintain store standards.
