Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development at our Melbourne, FL location. This role involves assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise, and supporting the Store Manager in supervision and training of associates.

The position emphasizes maintaining a clean, well-stocked sales floor, ensuring safety and policy compliance, and overseeing payroll, scheduling and loss prevention

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing merchandise and maintaining seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communicate store activities.
