Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment. The role involves assisting with daily store activities, merchandising, payroll and scheduling records, and loss prevention.

The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas and ensure fixtures and displays are effective.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll/scheduling records, and cash deposits.
• Supervise and train Store Associates; maintain a safe, respectful environment.
• Keep store clean, stocked, and presentable; manage safety and policies.
