Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assumes responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluation of store personnel.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments when necessary.
• Be aware of inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability in all departments.
• Direct staff to ensure each department’s responsibilities and standards are completed.
• Keep the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Assure quality customer service is maintained.
• Perform general administrative duties and be trained in Store Manager’s responsibilities.
• Produce and give extraordinary customer service per the customer service manual during peak periods and busy entrances.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Follow all policies and procedures as listed in manuals and memos.
• Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring internal controls and reporting fraud risk.
• Supervises employees in the absence of the Store Manager and performs related supervisory duties.
