Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Front Royal, VA location. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, and daily tasks to maintain store standards and efficiency.

You will train and supervise Store Associates, ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment, and cooperate with leadership to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits) and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Open and close the store as needed.
