Dollar Tree Stores in Falls Church, VA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

The role involves supervising daily activities, assisting customers, organizing merchandise, and upholding company policies while leading Store Associates in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

You will participate in opening/closing procedures, help with training, loss prevention, and maintaining clean, well-stocked sales floors and stockrooms.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store displays and promotions.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Maintain neat, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, positive environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash removal, and neat presentation.
