Job summary

Boat Owners Warehouse – Lewis Marine Supply in South Florida is seeking an Assistant Manager to support day-to-day store operations, logistics, purchasing, and customer service. You will back up the Store Manager, supervise cash handling, deposits, shipments, and inventory accuracy, and lead staff to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail operations, logistics, or customer service preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in basic computer programs and systems such as Monday.com and Paychex (or similar platforms).
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations, including cash handling and cashier supervision.
• Ensure accuracy of daily deposits and adherence to financial procedures.
• Coordinate special orders, product transfers, and incoming shipments to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Oversee warehouse team for organized storage and efficient distribution to the sales floor.
• Lead sales floor staff, including training and motivation.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and address customer needs.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to meet sales targets and improve efficiency.
• Uphold safety protocols and cleanliness in store and warehouse.
• Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving to support the team.
