Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service leadership; greet and assist customers; operate cashier and scanner to itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise via receiving, unpacking, stocking, restocking and building displays.
• Help maintain inventory by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls.
• Assist with planograms; ensure merchandise is presented per established practices and Store Manager direction.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, deposits, and cash control procedures; sign refunds/overrides.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
