Gap Inc. seeks an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and lead the team in delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

You will drive profitable sales through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development, collaborating with leadership to execute the store strategy and coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to unlock performance. You’ll own areas, implement actions to improve efficiency, perform Service Leader duties, and ensure SOPs are followed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for retail and fast-paced environment.
• Metrics-driven to meet business goals.
• Ability to coach and mentor team members.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and deliver results.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
