J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. You’ll help drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and strong community engagement, while coaching the sales team for peak performance.

You will collaborate with the Store Director and other leaders to adapt strategies, manage operations, and ensure exceptional service. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends.

• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director and Associate Manager to impact business results and profitability.
• Own assigned division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist Store Director and Associate Manager with recruiting, training and development.
• Collaborate to curate a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and provides best-in-class customer service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions for associates to elevate customer connection.
• Develop community engagement and loyalty through events.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor as needed.
