Madewell, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. You will drive profitability through genuine customer connections and brand loyalty, coaching the sales team, and supporting store operations.

You will coordinate with the leadership team to adapt strategies for business success, provide immediate feedback, and help train and develop associates while maintaining a high-energy, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience or similar scope.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results and profitability.
• Own designated division (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development efforts as needed.
• Collaborate to create a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class customer service.
• Lead fit sessions to boost product knowledge for associates.
