Job summary

Goodwill Industries of East Texas, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Manager to support daily store operations and provide leadership in the absence of the Store Manager.

You will assist with sales performance, staff supervision, customer service excellence, safety compliance, and operational efficiency, while helping train team members and promoting a welcoming environment for customers, donors, and employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Valid Texas driver's license and proof of insurance on a personal vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support daily retail store operations and lead in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist with sales performance, supervise staff and ensure customer service excellence.
• Uphold safety compliance, efficiency, and adherence to company policies.
