Job summary

The role involves opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling duties, loss prevention, and training Store Associates. This part-time position offers varied shifts and opportunities to contribute to a friendly, efficient store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, and bending are required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain a well-stocked floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
