Job summary

Seasons Corner Market in Warwick, RI is seeking an Assistant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced retail setting, leads by example, coaches a team, and delivers outstanding guest service.

You will work with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain merchandising standards, handle scheduling, and drive sales while creating a positive, inclusive work environment for staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Availability to align with Store Manager's schedule; limited travel for openings (3–6 weeks).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and welcoming guest experience.
• Supervise and support employees during daily operations.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily business operations and goals.
• Process purchases using POS and cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Keep floors and facilities clean and safe.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and coaching new team members.
• Drive sales through product knowledge and promotions.
• Follow policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Complete reports and administrative tasks on schedule.
• Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and workflow.
• Support remodels, openings, and other initiatives.
