Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and develop store associates in Saint Charles, IL. You’ll support opening/closing, merchandising, payroll and scheduling, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, retail leadership experience, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills required.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and related communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, cash deposits and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff compliance.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, restrooms stocked, and areas neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
