J.Crew is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team and drive profitability through authentic customer connections and brand loyalty. You will coach the sales team, support store operations, and collaborate with leadership to adapt strategies for business success and smooth operations.

You will help recruit and train staff, lead by example in delivering exceptional service, and participate in community events to strengthen the brand presence.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.

• Able to stay up to date with fashion trends and industry developments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director and Assistant Store Manager to impact profitability through a strong customer connection.
• Own your division: Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling, etc.
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development efforts.
• Collaborate to create a positive, collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost authentic customer connections.
• Develop community engagement and loyalty through events.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor as needed.
