Job summary

Family Dollar in Montrose, PA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with day-to-day tasks, assist customers, and ensure merchandise flows smoothly from delivery to floor.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities and benefits, with prior retail supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Provide supervision, training, and development for Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, organized store and stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
