Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in our Dallas store. You will assist with day-to-day functions, help organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor and stockroom meet company standards.

Responsibilities include opening and closing procedures, supervising and training Store Associates, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and address questions.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and maintain store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering, loss prevention, and cash handling.
• Ensure clean, organized store and secure assets.
