The role emphasizes strong communication, a hands-on leadership approach, and adherence to policies to ensure a safe, friendly shopping experience for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/readable operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, and record keeping.
• Maintain neat and stocked sales floor and stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash, and follow safety procedures.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates, ensuring a respectful environment.
