Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Seattle is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise transfers, and help maintain clean, well-stocked sales floors.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a proven track record in retail or grocery management. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms, floors and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
