Hibbett I City Gear is hiring an Assistant Manager for the Eagle Pass, Texas location. The role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, merchandising, and customer service, with supervisory duties in the Store Manager’s absence.

You will lead a team, drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure profitability while delivering outstanding service to customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Participate in recruiting, training, and evaluation of personnel.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to complete department responsibilities and standards.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and trends.
• Maintain high quality customer service per manuals.
• Promote services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold policies and protect company assets and information.
• Report potential fraud risks to management.
