Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear in El Paso, TX seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations and administration. You will help with selling, restocking, merchandising, and scheduling while ensuring exceptional customer service.

The role requires 1-3 years of retail and customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to supervise staff in the Store Manager’s absence. The position is based at our El Paso location and reports to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling assets and store responsibilities.
• Consult with Store Manager to set action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Fill in for Store Manager in their absence and be trained in Store Manager responsibilities.
• Assist in personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards.
• Maintain high-quality customer service as outlined in manuals.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
