Job summary

Family Dollar in Ellaville, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities and ensure merchandise is stocked and displays are maintained.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, processing directives, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention. A high school diploma is preferred with prior store management experience in retail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; able to read and interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and storefront fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized, ensure security of assets.
