Qualifications

• Proven ability to sell product and manage a retail department.
• Proven ability to drive results, develop talent, excel in customer service and exercise sound decision making and judgement.
• Ability to comprehend basic instructions, interpret documents and apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks.
• Associate must be able to read English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Cavender’s Culture and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Maintain active role in personal selling and meet/exceed sales per hour goals.
• Train all associate positions in the store (Cashier, Sales Associate, Key).
• Act as Manager on Duty as assigned and manage day-to-day store operations.
• Open and close the store as directed and address customer complaints.
• Handle returns and exchanges and supervise associate assignments and concerns.
• Increase sales, maintain profit, and reduce controllable expenses using key metrics.
• Lead training of store associates on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Promote safe, secure store environment and report incidents promptly.
• Understand and execute all company policies and procedures.
