Athleta in Ridgeland, MS, seeks an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and lead a high‑performing team. You’ll drive profitable sales through operations, merchandising, and talent development, while coaching Leads and Brand Associates to deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience.

Collaborating with the GM/AGM, you’ll implement strategies to meet performance goals, mentor colleagues, and ensure smooth execution of store procedures in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and deliver results with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement and omni‑channel experiences.
• Ensure compliance with standards and policies.
