Job summary

Lee's Discount Liquor in Henderson, NV seeks an Assistant Manager to back up the Store Manager in daily operations. You will help drive revenue, manage receiving, and ensure shelves are stocked while maintaining a clean, attractive store.

The role requires 3–5 years of retail experience, liquor knowledge preferred, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of Retail Experience.
• Liquor Experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Organized and detail orientated.
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft applications and intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Drives revenue and customer counts
• Ensures stores are visually enticing, neat, clean, organized and sale signs are displayed timely and accurate
• Weekly store orders with Distributors as well as ensuring receiving is accurately processed.
• Manages inventory, ensuring proper inventory levels, and executing proper shelf management
• Identifies opportunities to grow the business and improve sales
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and conduct weekly reconciliations of cash on hand
• Manages refunds, voids, and discounts daily
• Supervises team when Store Manager is out of store.
• Follow procedures and controls, as well as corporate accounting procedures
• Other Duties as assigned
