Job summary

The Crossings - Grand Rapids is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join TCC Wireless LLC in Stratford, CT. This RAM role blends customer service excellence with sales leadership, driving revenue while guiding a busy store team.

You will manage daily operations, support activations and billing changes, and ensure a welcoming, well-organized store environment. The position requires a proactive, energetic candidate with strong communication skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in retail and/or sales with a strong customer focus.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment
• Professional, energetic, honest, patient and empathetic
• Ability to problem solve, analyze results, plan for the future, and make good decisions
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the sales floor
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service by greeting customers, answering phones, and assessing needs.
• Drive revenue goals by acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and identifying opportunities.
• Build relationships with TCC Wireless employees and customers across all channels of the business.
• Work with store management in opening, closing and operating the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory count and deposits.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain store appearance, back room, restrooms and work area.
• Explore customer needs with thoughtful questions and assist with activations, changes and bill payments.
• RAM is responsible for achieving assigned performance metrics.
