Job summary

The Retail Assistant Manager at TCC Wireless NJ South Orange will lead a busy store floor, drive sales and deliver world-class service while ensuring inventory accuracy and adherence to company policies.

You will mentor staff, open/close the store, manage cash handling, and collaborate with store management to meet monthly revenue goals and upgrade customers' plans and devices. This role requires flexible scheduling including nights and weekends and a passion for wireless technology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Retail and/or sales experience with a strong customer focus
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment
• Professional, energetic, honest, patient and empathetic
• Ability to problem solve and analyze results
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
• Reliable transportation
• Stand for long periods
• Lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service including greeting customers and answering phones
• Drive monthly revenue goals through new and existing accounts
• Build relationships with employees and customers across channels
• Assist store management with opening, closing, cash handling, inventory, and deposits
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain store appearance and back room
• Assist with activations, changes, bill payments, upgrades and accessories
• Achieve assigned performance metrics
