Job summary

TCC Wireless is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager in South Orange, NJ. The RAM role is a fast-paced position serving customers, driving revenue, and supporting store operations with a high energy approach.

You will lead customer interactions, manage activations and payments, and collaborate with store management to meet performance metrics. This full-time role requires availability nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in retail and/or sales with a strong customer focus.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the sales floor.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides world-class customer service including greeting customers and answering phones.
• Drives monthly revenue goals through acquiring new accounts and maximizing existing ones.
• Builds relationships with customers and employees across channels.
• Assists in opening, closing, and operating the store including cash handling and deposits.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintains store appearance and back room areas to standards.
• Assists customers with activations, plan changes, upgrades and payments.
