Job summary

H&S Energy Products is seeking an Assistant Manager for its NorCal Seaside location. The role supports the Store Manager with all site operations and will oversee daily tasks, shift coverage, and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Retail or management experience preferred.
• Ability to reconcile shift reports and understand their purpose.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet demands, with excellent follow through.
• Ability to identify issues and make the necessary corrections effectively.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform select duties and responsibilities of the Store Manager in the manager's absence, including submitting daily paperwork and approved orders.
• Create maintenance tickets and address scheduling issues.
• Handle customer concerns or complaints in a friendly, professional manner.
• Demonstrate competent knowledge of Point of Sale and back office systems.
• Assign and inspect shift duties and responsibilities.
• Understand and apply labor laws as they apply to retail operations.
• Promote safety by ensuring rules and regulations are followed.
• Interact professionally with all team members.
• May be asked to make recommendations regarding employee performance and/or disciplinary issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
