Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Greater Nebraska in Grand Island, NE seeks a Full-Time Store Manager Assistant to help operate the Grand Island North Store. You will support the Store Manager with daily operations and help maintain an inviting shopping environment.

Responsibilities include training staff, supervising donation processing, stocking, pricing, and ensuring adherence to store procedures while delivering excellent customer service and upholding Goodwill values.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience working with the public.
• Supervisory experience.
• Valid Nebraska drivers license and meet insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in training and motivating staff to meet performance goals.
• Oversee sales floor activities with the Sales Floor Supervisor, including salvaging, stocking, and cleanliness.
• Ensure store procedures are followed and documented as required.
• Assist with donation area and donation center operations, including processing, getting quality product to the floor, and preparing items for e-commerce.
• Assist the Store Manager in creating an exciting shopping environment each day.
• Maintain store operations, including opening and closing as requested by the manager.
• Serve as a positive role model to employees.
• Assist with quality control of incoming products and movement to the sales floor; salvage as needed.
• Back up cashier as needed.
• Maintain a positive community image for Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska and build relations with customers, donors, co-workers, and guests.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure timely arrival and consistent attendance.
• Perform work in conformance with Goodwill Values (Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Stewardship, Learning, Teamwork, Entrepreneurial Spirit).
