Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Retail Store Supervisor for the Grand Island North Store in Grand Island, NE. You will assist the Store Manager in daily operations and lead a team to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include staff training, floor and donation area oversight, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to procedures. The role emphasizes creating a welcoming shopping environment and reporting to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience working with the public.
• Supervisory experience.
• Valid Nebraska driver's license and meet insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in training, motivating, and guiding store personnel to meet performance goals.
• Oversee sales floor activities including salvaging, stocking, organizing, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Ensure procedures related to store work activity are followed and documented.
• Assist with donation area operations, processing, and getting quality product to the floor to meet daily goals.
• Create an engaging shopping environment and maintain store operations (opening/closing) as assigned.
• Back up cashier duties and uphold positive community image for Goodwill.
