Englefield, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily store operations, coach staff, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will assist the Store Manager, participate in scheduling and inventory, and help ensure compliance and safe, welcoming guest experiences. A high school diploma and 1+ year leadership in retail are required; ServeSafe certification or willingness to obtain is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of leadership experience in retail or food service
• A team-first mindset with strong communication skills
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, and basic store systems
• Familiar with POS systems and basic software (Word, Excel, Email)
• ServeSafe certification – Required or willingness to obtain
• Customer-focused and able to create a welcoming guest experience

Responsibilities

• Support store operations including staffing, inventory, and shift leadership
• Coach and train team members to deliver friendly, efficient service
• Ensure the store stays clean, safe, and customer-ready
• Step in to lead when the Store Manager is away to drive performance and maintain standards
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, and the team
