Hibbett I City Gear in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations and drive customer service excellence. This role reports to the Store Manager and ensures store goals are met through effective supervision and assistance.

The position focuses on merchandising, inventory control, staff coordination, and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Retail experience in footwear/apparel preferred.
1-3 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative and teamwork.
Detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
Stand in for Store Manager in their absence.
Assist in recruiting, training and evaluating store staff.
Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to support profitability.
Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
Maintain extraordinary customer service per manuals and assist customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by the store.
Uphold company policies and internal control procedures and report fraud risks.
