Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Manager in Norman, OK. The role combines Assistant Manager duties with Assistant in Training responsibilities to drive sales, coach Teammates, and maintain merchandising standards.

You will partner with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit, train, and motivate staff, while ensuring exceptional guest experiences across the sales floor, fitting room, and checkout areas. Strong leadership and a customer-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Retail experience of 1–3 months can be considered in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and motivating Teammates and lead in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Lead visual merchandising by maintaining zones and ensuring adherence to brand standards.
• Handle daily store operations, including POS procedures, inventory, and loss-prevention practices.
• Provide leadership and supervise Teammates to support store goals and performance.
