Job summary

Dollar Tree in Americus, GA is seeking a dedicated retail team member to support daily store operations and exceptional customer service. You will assist with stocking, merchandising, opening/closing tasks, and following corporate directives while maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming surroundings for customers and colleagues.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs while delivering friendly service and efficient store support across all areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications related to activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies; train and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
