Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking an Assistant Manager at North Point Mall to support the store manager in all aspects of store operations, ensuring guest service, staff management, and execution of sales and marketing strategies.

This role requires leading shifts, coaching team, overseeing inventory, merchandising, and compliance with company policies, with a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of store management experience in a customer-centric retail environment.
• High school diploma.
• Basic understanding of POS, scheduling, HRIS, and time-and-attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Workshop Manager with daily assignments and directing work for associates.
• Assist in hiring, promotions, and staff development decisions.
• Lead and inspire the team during shifts, enforcing policies and standards and addressing violations when needed.
• Drive sales as Floor Leader, coaching Bear Builders and delivering an Experience First guest experience.
• Ensure merchandising displays and layouts align with brand standards and create a cohesive store environment.
• Oversee inventory management processes including receiving, stocking, and counts.
• Develop a high-performing team that consistently delivers an exceptional guest experience.
