Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager to blend business strategy, operations, and people leadership in a fast-paced fashion retail environment.

You will drive sales by delivering best-in-class customer service, oversee opening and closing routines and ensure store processes run smoothly. You’ll recruit, train, and coach staff, lead floorset updates and visual merchandising, analyze reports to guide decisions, manage staffing and payroll, and promote from within to develop

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus and brand awareness.
• Ability to coach others and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines.
• Supervise salesfloor and stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing, scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop the non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
• Represent the Brand and Exemplify Company Culture and Values.
