GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a fast-paced convenience store in the New York area. You will support the Store Manager, supervise daily operations, and lead a team focused on delivering exceptional customer service.

Expect to work weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts while upholding standards for store appearance and safety. The role requires strong communication, cash handling, and a proactive approach to teamwork.

Qualifications

• Open availability, including weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Must have (or be able to obtain) Food Safety Certification.
• Minimum age 21+.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.
