GPM Investments, LLC is hiring an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store in Morehead City, NC. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach the team, handle hiring, scheduling, and daily operations to keep the store energized.

We offer weekly pay, bonuses, 401(k), PTO, insurance, career growth, and a $1000 sign-on bonus after 6 months. Open availability required; you should have a valid driver’s license to make deposits.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and multiple shifts.
• Excellent customer service and strong math skills.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and train a team.
• Experience in cash handling and basic store finance.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store—including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
