GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run a high-energy convenience store in North Carolina. You will support the Store Manager, supervise daily operations, and ensure customer service excellence on all shifts.

You will lead a team, manage scheduling and cash handling, and help train associates for upselling and promotions while maintaining store standards and inventory control. The role offers growth toward store leadership with weekend and holiday availability expected.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and lead by example on busy shifts.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full shift coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
